Product - in-lite app
If I change the name of my yard, won't it change on the phone/tablet of everyone I share the yard with?
That is correct. Anyone can decide the name for the yard, even if shared with others using the app. A landscaper, for example, may give the yard a name that is relevant for his work, while the owner can give the yard a different name.
The connection fails often, even though it is possible to reconnect each time. How can I improve the connection?
Try the following tips: 1. Reduce the distance to the installed (and previously connected) SMART HUB-150. 2. Disconnect any devices that are connected unnecessarily. 3. Make sure the Bluetooth connection is not disrupted by a material like metal or a microwave or Wi-Fi router.
How do I set routines in the in-lite app?
Different routines can be set in the in-lite app. See the manual for the in-lite app.
What is the total distance in meters of the connection to the SMART HUB-150?
The SMART HUB-150 is controlled with your smartphone or tablet at a distance of up to tens of meters. Subsequent SMART 150-HUBs may enable a larger distance between the SMART HUBs of several hundred meters.
Does the SMART HUB-150 work with Wi-Fi?
The transformer connects to your smartphone or tablet using Bluetooth Low Energy.
What kind of smartphone or tablet do you need to operate the SMART HUB-150?
The minimum required version for iOS devices is iOS 11.0. The minimum required version for Android devices is Android 5.0.
Can I use the app to control the lights individually?
The in-lite app makes it possible to control 3 cable outlets on the transformer separately. It is not possible to control multiple fixtures on a single line separately.
Can multiple SMART HUB-150 transformers be controlled with one app?
It is possible to operate several SMART HUB-150s with the in-lite app. It is even possible to control several outdoor spaces.
Can I share the app with my family?
The app settings can be shared using a special share function. Multiple devices can then operate the lighting. See the manual for the in-lite app.

Cut off the cable lugs entirely and strip the cable as described above or see the manual for the transformer.
Can two cables fit in one connection?
The HUB-50/100 transformers have two cable outlets, each of which is used for one ground cable, while both are controlled jointly. The SMART HUB-150 has three cable outlets that can be controlled separately using the in-lite app. It is not possible to attach two cables to one outlet. If desired, a CC-2 cable connector can be used to create branches on the main line. A cable plan is essential when installing the ground cable. Read more about this in our blog. The CB transformers have one cable outlet and it is not possible to connect two cables to it.
Can I connect a different type of cable to the different cable outlets?
A different cable (14/2 or 10/2 cable) can be connected to every output (connection) on the transformer.
What is the maximum cable length?
We have two types of cables in our product range, the 14/2 and the 10/2. The 14/2 cable is used for linear installation with a maximum cable length of 40 meters. The 10/2 cable is used for linear installation with a maximum cable length of 80 meters. To determine whether you have exceeded the maximum cable length, calculate the length from the transformer to the end of the cable. This also applies to any branches. Each cable end may not be any further than 40 or 80 meters from the transformer. All values apply to a single cable outlet.
What is a branch?
A CC-2 cable connector lets you attach a second cable to the first cable. It can be added to the end of the first cable, but can also be attached halfway along the cable to let you reach a different area of your yard. Always keep in mind the maximum cable lengths. Only create a branch using the same type of cable.
Can I use a use a loop system, with one end in port 1 and the other in port 2?
No, this is not a good idea. This will cause a system failure. The cables may only be installed linearly, though you can always create branches in the cable.
What is the difference between the 14/2 and 10/2 cable?
There are two types of cables in the product range, the 14/2 and the 10/2. The numbers indicate the thickness from the copper inside the cable. The 10/2 cable contains more copper than the 14/2 cable, which is almost impossible to see from the outside. A cable with a higher quantity of copper makes it possible to install fixtures over a longer distance. That is why the 14/2 cable enables a maximum cable length (with linear installation) of 40 meters, while the 10/2 cable enables a maximum cable length (with linear installation) of 80 meters. Want to learn more about the linear installation of the cable? See our blog on cables.
