Does the motion detector work automatically once connected?

Yes, the MOVE motion detector for the HUB-50/100 is active if set to light/dark and/or motion detector. The SMART MOVE motion detector for the SMART HUB-150 must be charged for around three hours in direct daylight before being used for the first time. You use the in-lite app to add the SMART MOVE and configure the settings. For more information, see the manual.
