All in-lite fixtures are suitable for outdoor use. Fixtures with LED light sources are waterproof (also refer to the IP values for our products), but are not designed to remain under water permanently. Use our underwater spotlight for this instead.
Yes, with the exception of our mini transformer. We do, however, recommend that you use only one type of cable in your yard, even if you want to install several transformers (and therefore make several cable plans for a single yard). This will prevent mistakes that may lead to less than adequate functioning of the system.
Yes, you can. You can add fixtures to an existing cable plan or expand your cable plan. However, make sure you consider the maximum load of the transformer and the cable. For more information, visit the installation tips page.
You can only connect a dimmer if this possibility is stated explicitly in the specifications for the outdoor light. Click here to view all dimmable lights in our product range.

No, that is not possible. The LED electronics in particular are sensitive to interference or fluctuations in the system. We remind you that when your lighting is connected to a system that includes products that are not from in-lite, this will void the warranty. We can no longer guarantee the quality of our products in such cases.

You don't have to, but it is wise. A lighting plan ensures there is light in the right places. It also makes it easier to choose the fixture type and you can quickly and easily calculate the technical components that are required. Good preparation is half the job! No, you do not. The Easy-Lock connector can be installed above or below ground without any problem. The special gel in the connector protects the connection against moisture and other external factors. Read more about this on the Installation Tips page.
The cable on nearly all of our fixtures is about 60 cm, measured from the fixture to the Easy-Lock. If the cable for a particular fixture has a different length, this is indicated in the installation recommendations. Please refer to the specific product in our product list. Special 1 meter, 2 meter and 3 meter extension cords are available to increase the distance from the fixture to the cable. Yes, all in-lite fixtures, from LED to Halogen, can be combined together. Remember to keep the load on the transformer in mind as well as the maximum cable lengths for optimal lighting. Read more on the Installation Tips page and in our transformer and cable manuals.
Check that the fixture is correctly connected to the low-voltage cable. Refer to the Installation Tips page, product installation recommendations and the product manual to learn how. Test the Easy-Lock by replacing it with another (functioning) fixture. Check the light source of fixtures with an incandescent or halogen bulb by replacing the bulb. Still no luck? Then contact the gardener or dealer where the product was purchased. They can also provide a replacement Easy-Lock.
Make sure the transformer is installed correctly. Refer to the Installation Tips page and the manual. If it is installed correctly, check for a possible power failure by checking the red reset button on the bottom of the transformer. It should be pushed in. If the button is not pushed in, the transformer probably experienced an overload. Press the red button to reset the transformer. Still not working? Then please contact one of our dealers.

If the lights do not turn on after checking the above points, then the light sensor is probably defective. Separate light sensors are available from our dealers. If the dealer does not have it in stock, they can order it from us.
Be sure to mount the light sensor for the transformer in a location where it will not be affected by artificial light, such as car headlights or street lights. Also visit our Installation Tips page.
You can only use our special underwater spotlight for this. It is designed to be permanently installed under water. However, keep in mind that the mini-connector must always be located out of the water and the spotlight must be removed from the water before the water freezes.
