In some (modern) homes, external factors like thick, insulated walls and steel constructions can reduce Bluetooth signal strength and quality. Bluetooth connectivity in today’s smartphones can also occasionally be less than optimal. In these cases, the SMART EXTENDER strengthens the Bluetooth connection to the SMART HUB-150 and the in-lite app.

Installation advice
The SMART EXTENDER should always be installed indoors at a location in the home where the in-lite app is often used, such as the living room or kitchen. To guarantee optimal operation, it should not be placed in a meter box or next to the Wi-Fi router. Plug it into a power socket using the UK adapter plug provided. Use the pair button and add the SMART EXTENDER to the in-lite SMART network for the outdoor space or home using the in-lite app.
