What is the difference between the 14/2 and 10/2 cable?

There are two types of cables in the product range, the 14/2 and the 10/2. The numbers indicate the thickness from the copper inside the cable. The 10/2 cable contains more copper than the 14/2 cable, which is almost impossible to see from the outside. A cable with a higher quantity of copper makes it possible to install fixtures over a longer distance. That is why the 14/2 cable enables a maximum cable length (with linear installation) of 40 meters, while the 10/2 cable enables a maximum cable length (with linear installation) of 80 meters.
