Why is the AIM series being recalled?

At in-lite, we continuously monitor our products, even after they leave our facilities. This monitoring has shown that some AIM series products may have an increased risk of defects. The return rate is still below our internal quality threshold, but we don’t wait for a problem to occur.

Which products are covered by this recall?

The recall applies to the following products: 10401360 AIM – 10401355 AIM LOW – 10401350 AIM EXTRA LOW – 10401370 AIM LIGHT HEAD – 10401365 AIM CEILING – 10401380 AIM FLOOR (additional parts) excl. GRIP 3

Do installed fixtures need to be returned?

No, installed fixtures do not need to be returned. If a defect does occur, we will replace the fixture once the new version becomes available (between May and June 2026, depending on the model).

What happens after I have registered my products?

We will then provide a return ticket, which allows our carrier to collect the fixtures. For large quantities, we will arrange a personal pickup. If you have an appointment scheduled with your Business Manager, they can also collect the fixtures directly.

Through our ongoing product monitoring, we have identified that some products from the AIM series may have an increased risk of defects. The defect rate has not yet reached our internal quality threshold. However, at in-lite, we don’t wait for a problem to escalate. We act proactively.

What this means for you

Sales Stop
As of today, March 12, 2026, we will temporarily halt the delivery of AIM fixtures until further notice. Any outstanding orders will be placed on backorder until new deliveries are possible.
Active Recall
We are recalling AIM fixtures currently in your inventory. Please fill out the form below. We will provide a return ticket so that our carrier can collect the fixtures. For large quantities, we will arrange a personal pickup. If you have an appointment scheduled with your Business Manager, they can also collect the fixtures directly.
Installed Fixtures
Installed fixtures do not need to be returned. If a defect occurs, please follow the regular defect reporting procedure.
Improved Design
Our R&D team has implemented optimizations in the AIM design to minimize the risk of defects. Production of the updated design has already begun.

Once the new version becomes available, we will exchange the returned AIM fixtures. Based on the information currently available, we expect this to happen around May/June.
