Software Update support period

We devote a considerable amount of attention to the quality of our products, including the security and safety of the products. That's why updateable software products have a support period for firmware security updates of at least 5 years following their global launch. in-lite releases firmware updates for updateable software components. When the updateable software products are connected to the internet, via phone or SMART BRIDGE, the firmware will automatically be installed.

Vulnerability disclosure 

At in-lite, the security of our products, network and systems is very important to us. Despite the fact that we take great care with security, it may happen that a vulnerability is discovered. If you discover a vulnerability in the system, we highly appreciate it if you can share the vulnerability with us. Vulnerable reports can be sent to service@in-lite.com.

Provide sufficient information in the e-mail, so we can reproduce the problem and solve it as soon as possible. Do not share this information with others, and do not take advantage of the vulnerability.

  • in-lite will respond to reports of (potential) security issues within one month.
  • in-lite will resolve security software issues within 90 days and security hardware issues within 6 months.

The reporter will be kept informed about the development of the process.

After research it might come to a conclusion that the vulnerability is too difficult to solve, or it comes with a high cost involved in resolving it. In-lite can regard the vulnerability as an accepted risk and not remedy it.
