in-lite Smart AI is a new innovation within the in-lite app that understands how a garden is laid out. Through a simple scan, the system recognises lighting and key garden elements, after which fixtures are automatically organised and can be controlled with ease.

How does in-lite Smart AI work?

Using the camera and sensors on a smartphone, in-lite Smart AI analyses photos and scans of your outdoor space. The system recognises lighting, terraces, pathways, trees, borders and other relevant elements, placing them in the context of your garden. This creates a digital representation of the outdoor space that serves as the foundation for smart automation.

Do I still need to manually set up or name my fixtures?

No. During the Smart AI Setup, fixtures are automatically recognised, linked to their location and organised within the in-lite app. The system also assigns logical names to each fixture automatically, so you no longer need to create groups or identify lighting yourself.

What technology is behind in-lite Smart AI?

in-lite Smart AI combines several technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), computer vision, augmented reality (AR) and LiDAR. Together, these technologies enable the app to recognise, understand and translate your outdoor space into an intuitive user experience.

Can the system handle multiple zones or complex layouts?

Yes. The system is designed to be flexible and can manage a wide range of configurations seamlessly.

Do I need any special hardware?

in-lite Smart AI uses the camera and sensors of modern smartphones. For certain features, devices with additional sensor technology such as LiDAR can offer even greater accuracy.

How much personalisation is possible?

Users can customise scenes and benefit from AI-driven suggestions via AI Scenes for the best possible experience.

When will in-lite Smart AI be available?

in-lite Smart AI will be available at the end of 2026. We're currently working on the first beta version of in-lite Smart AI.

Can I use in-lite Smart AI with my existing in-lite garden setup?

Yes, absolutely. Even if you already have an in-lite system installed and in use, you can still run the AI Setup. During this process, the names of fixtures and zones may be updated to create an optimal configuration. If you add a new HUB or additional Smart lights later on, you can run the AI Setup again so that the new products are seamlessly integrated into your smart garden lighting.
