Easily Install Your Recessed Lighting
At in-lite, we strive to make the installation of outdoor lighting a hassle-free experience, and this extends to our recessed lights. To install recessed lighting, you’ll require a 60mm diameter hole in wood or stone. The light can then be fitted in the hole with minimal effort, and connected to your in-lite system.
When installing your recessed lighting, consider:
To create the hole, use a wood drill or cooled diamond-tipped drill depending on the surface. You will need a smooth circumference to correctly place the light
Measure your hole and create it carefully, as it must be drilled straight and the correct size for the fixture to work optimally
Consider involving a trained professional, like a gardener or dealer, for the best results
If you intend to place recessed lights over flower beds or foliage, consider using SPIKE, a ground pin that can seamlessly be placed into dirt. Alternatively, a BOX can allow you to position a recessed light over gravel or stones
To alter the appearance of your recessed light, combine it with a PLATE 75 or PLATE 1. These cover plates are available in various colours and are easily clamped over the fixture
Whether you like an industrial outdoor space, a sleek and calm look or a colorful garden, the in-lite outdoor ground spots always suit your garden. At in-lite we have LED ground spots in different colours. The black ground spots fit very well with both sleek and colorful gardens. Just like the color pearl gray.

FAQ
What is recessed lighting?
Recessed lighting fixtures are fixtures that fit into circular holes, illuminating a large area. In an outdoor space, this can refer to lights set in paving, walls, decks, grass, or gravel. A small hole is created and then the circular light is placed within it. Recessed lighting is ideal for illuminating driveways or paths, as well as accentuating your foliage or greenery. You can even use recessed lights for your seating area, to provide a subtle yet ambient lighting for social gatherings.
What is LED recessed lighting?
LED stands for Light Emitting Diode, and it's a form of lighting that works up to 90% more efficiently than incandescent light bulbs. LED recessed lights can be placed in almost any surface, and offer a clean, wide illumination of the surrounding area.
