How many fixtures can I connect to HUB-75 or SMART HUB-75?

There is no fixed number of lights you can connect. It depends on the total VA value of the fixtures. SMART HUB-75 and HUB-75 have a maximum capacity of 75VA, so the combined total of all connected lights must stay below this limit. When creating your lighting plan, also consider possible future expansions so you can easily add extra fixtures later.

Can I mount SMART HUB-75 or HUB-75 outdoors?

The transformer can be mounted on the wall both indoors and outdoors. If you place it outdoors, make sure it is mounted at least 20 inches above the ground and protected from direct rainfall. If no sheltered location is available, PROTECTOR 1 offers the solution. This protective cover is specially designed for HUB-75 and SMART HUB-75 and protects the transformer from rain, dirt, and moisture.

Which smart home systems work with SMART HUB-75?

With the optional SMART BRIDGE, SMART HUB-75 can be connected to the internet and integrated into various smart home systems. This allows connection with systems including KNX, Google Home, Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Matter, and Control4.

Both transformers have a capacity of 75VA and are equipped with two cable outputs, but they differ in how they are controlled. HUB-75 is operated manually with a button and includes a light/dark sensor with a timer. The two outputs cannot be switched independently. SMART HUB-75 offers added flexibility through control via the in-lite app (Bluetooth). This allows zones to be controlled separately and supports smart fixtures. In addition, SMART HUB-75 is suitable for use with smart fixtures.

Both transformers can be expanded with a motion sensor: MOVE for HUB-75 and SMART MOVE for SMART HUB-75. MOVE switches the lighting on automatically for 1, 3, or 9 minutes when movement is detected. SMART MOVE is completely wireless and solar-powered. SMART BRIDGE is also available specifically for SMART HUB-75, allowing you to connect the lighting to smart home systems. For outdoor installation, PROTECTOR 1 offers protection against weather conditions and is suitable for both transformers.
