More than just a fence

In many cases, you put up a garden fence both to define your own outdoor space and for a bit of privacy. Everyone likes to enjoy their own space, so you can sit quietly in the garden without being disturbed by nosy neighbours. Besides being practical, a fence is a beautiful element that should be seen. For example, make use of the walls to install fence lights. That way you will have and best light and create a nice atmosphere for when it is dark. Because say it yourself: surely it's great to have a drink in your backyard - alone or with friends - at night, play a game or just enjoy yourself?

Invest in this type of fence lighting from in-lite

Turn your wooden fence, concrete fence, mesh panel fence or garden wall covered with hedra into a real eye-catcher with the right fence lighting. Do you want to know which lighting on wooden fences works best, for example? We are happy to explain that to you. Because it is very simple; for lighting your fence, the choices are not endless. Which is handy too. For your garden wall, choose in-lite wall lights or - more specifically - the outdoor spotlight MINI SCOPE.

The fact that there is only one type (and one outdoor spotlight) suitable for your fence lighting does not mean that there are no possibilities to vary and turn it into something pleasant. On the contrary: wall lights as fence lights are both practical and beautiful and based on low voltage, making it easy and safe to connect.

Installing lights on fence? These wall lights have a special effect on your garden

in-lite wall lights have been developed to suit every type of garden. The outdoor sconces can be fully customised to your needs. From modern to rustic sconces, sleek or tough, in-lite has various concepts to suit your style.

When installing outdoor lighting on your fence, it is wise to choose a light source that is soft in colour and therefore does not dazzle. In some cases, wall lights are equipped with a dimmer, making it easy to adjust the light intensity yourself. No dimmer? Then take a look at the in-lite accessories from in-lite. There you will find items that ensure the light source is less bright.

Fence lighting at eye level for best results

Make sure you choose garden lighting which only shines downwards. So don't choose up-and-down lighting, because up light in this case can't aim at anything. That means the light disappears into the dark. It's best to place fence lights at eye level. After all, a standard fence is on average 1.80 metres high. Take ACE DOWN. It provides a perfectly bundled light downwards and can be easily adjusted with various accessories.

There is also something to be said about spacing. How far apart you hang fence lights depends on how much light you want to create. On average, you place fence lights one to one-and-a-half metres apart.

Installing in-lite fence lighting

in-lite's wall lights are easy to install on any fence. When installing fence lights, it is useful to pay particular attention to the length of the cable(s). Make sure you choose the right position for the wall lamp and very easily work the cable away between the fence laths. Normally, you have to take into account the handling of your ground cable, but often you can easily handle this cable in the ground next to the fence. Using an extension cable, you attach the wall light. In short, installing garden lighting for your fence is done in no time, so you can enjoy a beautifully lit garden.

MINI SCOPE as a fence lamp

That a fence lends itself perfectly to sconces is obvious, but would you rather not drill holes in your fence? Or do you prefer a fixture that is less conspicuous? With MINI SCOPE illuminate the fence from below and create an extraordinary, peaceful atmosphere. Depending on how far you place the outdoor spotlights from the fence or set them apart, different light images are created. Also fun - and easy! - to place between plants or in your border.
