How long do in-lite lights last?
Our LED lights are built to last—typically around 25,000 hours—so you can enjoy years of reliable lighting with minimal upkeep.
Can I install these lights myself?
Absolutely! Our low-voltage systems and EASY-LOCK technology are designed for easy DIY installation. Of course, you can always hire a professional if you prefer.
What’s the difference between hardscape and landscape lighting?
Hardscape lighting focuses on illuminating solid, structural features like walls, pathways, and patios, enhancing their functionality and aesthetics. Landscape lighting, on the other hand, highlights natural elements such as trees, shrubs, and gardens, creating depth and ambiance in outdoor spaces.
Do I need transformers or timers?
Yes, our systems use transformers for safe power distribution. You can also set schedules and control your lights using the in-lite app for added convenience.
How to install hardscape lights in pavers and steps?
Hardscape lights are made to sit within solid surfaces, so they blend into pavers, walls, and steps. In pavers, set a recessed fixture into a gap or a cored recess and route the 12V low-voltage cable underneath, ideally before the surface is finished. For steps, line lighting like EVO FLEX tucks under the tread or coping and washes light down onto the step below, keeping the surface safe to use after dark. Connect each fixture with the twist-on EASY-LOCK connector, and plan the recesses and cable runs before the hardscape is laid wherever you can. For an existing patio or staircase, an in-lite dealer or contractor can advise on retrofitting.
