Creating a cosy atmosphere with beautifully lit elements enriches any garden. As soon as night falls, garden lighting changes everything. But how do you install in-lite outdoor lighting easily and safely, so that you can enjoy all the beauty in the evening too? This page tells you all about the in-lite 12-volt system. Be inspired and informed and discover how to transform your outdoor space - without an electrician - with 12 V garden lighting.

what is low voltage?

Low-voltage garden lighting is at the heart of what we do at in-lite. It's not just a technical term; it's a safe, efficient and flexible way to light your outdoor space. With low voltage, which is much lower than your standard household voltage, we bring light to your garden, paths and terrace without the risks involved with higher voltages, such as 230 volts. This makes our luminaires not only safe to use, but also surprisingly easy to install.

how does it work

The 12V garden lights from in-lite work with a convenient installation system, so you don't need an electrician. You complete your system with in-lite HUB. This transformer converts the 230V current from the wall socket to 12 volts. Precisely because of this low voltage, in-lite outdoor lighting is safe to connect yourself.

Depending on the number of VAs and luminaires you want to install, choose the type of HUB to match.

most popular: smart hub-150

Want endless possibilities for the future? Then choose SMART HUB-150. Besides being controllable via the in-lite app, this transformer allows you to apply all the functionalities of smart lighting, operate lines individually and easily add the lighting to your smart home system.

Did you know that you can update everything Smart? So you're also prepared for future innovations.

The man has a serious, focused expression as he appears to be operating or inputting something into the device. The background appears to be a dimly lit indoor space, with what looks like a wooden slatted wall or structure in the foreground. The contrast between the man's attentive posture and the subdued lighting creates a sense of purposeful, professional activity. Without being able to identify the individual, the image conveys a sense of someone engaged in a security-related task or access procedure, likely in a commercial or institutional setting. The man's body language and the presence of the security device suggest a context of monitoring, control, or entry management. Overall, the image captures a moment of a person interacting with a security system, though the specifics of the situation or location are not clear from the visual information provided.

This diagram illustrates the wiring and connection components for a lighting setup. The main components include: HUB - This appears to be the central control unit or hub that connects the various lighting components. CABLE - The main power cable that connects the hub to the other elements. SPLIT CABLE - A branching cable that splits the connection to multiple fixtures. EASY-LOCK - Likely a connector or mounting system that allows for easy and secure installation of the lighting fixtures. FIXTURE - The actual lighting units that are connected to the system and wired through the split cable. The diagram provides a clear visual representation of how the different components, including the hub, cables, and fixtures, are intended to be connected and integrated to create a functional lighting setup. This type of diagram is commonly used to guide the installation and configuration of such integrated lighting systems.

benefits of low voltage

Easy installation: the in-lite system works on low voltage, making the luminaires very easy to connect. No professional is required.

Safety first: By converting the current from the wall socket to safe low voltage, there is no need to bury the ground cable. This is a 100% safe and waterproof method.

Sustainable: low-voltage lighting is known for its energy efficiency. Outdoor lighting from in-lite is made from high-quality materials and consumes less energy without compromising on light quality.
