There could be several reasons for this. Here are a few tips for making a Bluetooth connection or reconnecting: 1. First check whether the SMART HUB-150 is still receiving power from the power outlet. 2. In the settings in your phone or tablet, check whether Bluetooth is switched on. 3. Reduce the distance to the installed (and previously connected) SMART HUB-150. 4. Increase the distance of the SMART HUB-150 and/or your phone/tablet to other wireless devices. A disruption may occur. 5. Ensure that the distance to microwaves, Wi-Fi routers and large metal objects/structures is as large as possible. A disruption may occur. Try the following tips: 1. Is your phone or tablet also connected to several speakers, headphones or other devices? Disconnect the devices you use infrequently or not at all. The reason is that your phone is overloaded at a certain point. 2. Try restarting your phone or tablet.

Alternating current

The HUB-50/100 uses around 1.5 W when in idle status (lighting is switched off). Sample calculation: If the lighting is switched on for 3 hours a day, the transformer will be in idle status for 21 hours a day. This corresponds to 12 kW per year. With an energy price of €0.25/kWh, the total annual energy cost will be €3. The SMART HUB-150 uses around 3 W when in idle status (lighting is switched off). It is not necessary to evenly distribute the capacity of the lighting. Limit the capacity to no more than 100 VA per cable outlet.

A different cable (14/2 or 10/2 cable) can be connected to every output (connection) on the transformer.

The SMART HUB-150 is controlled with your smartphone or tablet at a distance of up to tens of meters. Subsequent SMART 150-HUBs may enable a larger distance between the SMART HUBs of several hundred meters.

The transformer connects to your smartphone or tablet using Bluetooth Low Energy.

The minimum required version for iOS devices is iOS 11.0. The minimum required version for Android devices is Android 5.0.

It is possible to operate several SMART HUB-150s with the in-lite app. It is even possible to control several outdoor spaces.

The SMART HUB-150 remembers the last settings used, even when not receiving power. This memory has a life span of at least 20 years.

You can load the Hub-50 with a maximum of 50 VA in total. The distribution over the two cables does not have to be proportional. The Hub-100 can be loaded with a maximum of 100 VA in total. The distribution over the two cables does not have to be proportional. The Smart Hub-150 can be loaded with a total maximum of 150 VA. The distribution over the three cables does not have to be proportional. Please note that you can connect a maximum of 100VA to 1 cable. You can then connect a further 50 VA to the other two cables.

The SMART HUB-150 is not equipped with a light sensor, but an astronomical clock. This clock uses the location to determine the time of sunset and sunrise. Give the app permission to use your location.

This depends on the total installation value (VA) of the fixtures in your lighting plan. The transformer must have sufficient output for controlling the lighting. For more information, see our blog on the transformer.

No, this is not possible. LED electronics in particular are susceptible to failures or fluctuations in the system. We wish to point out the fact that, if you use components in the in-lite system that are not from in-lite, the warranty no longer applies. Yes, because up-to-date SMART-HUB 150 software ensures that your SMART-HUB 150 will function properly. If new software is available, it will be offered through the in-lite app. An update button will then be displayed in the zone screen. To download the new software, make sure you have a good 3/4/5G internet connection and make a Bluetooth connection with the SMART-HUB 150. Open the app and, after a few minutes, check whether an update is displayed in the zone screen.

The number of lights depends on the total installation value (VA) of the lighting you wish to connect. You can connect up to 50 or 100 VA in fixtures to the HUB-50/100, respectively, while the SMART HUB-150 can power up to 150 VA in fixtures. Important: The BIG NERO (NARROW) is an exception, as a maximum of four, seven and nine BIG NERO (NARROW) can be connected to the HUB-50, HUB-100 and SMART HUB-150, respectively, divided over two or three cable outlets. The BIG NERO (NARROW) can only be connected to a 10/2 cable with a maximum length of 40 meters.
