Yes, you can switch off the SMART EXTENDER by removing the plug from the power outlet.
What are the advantages of a SMART BRIDGE without a smart home system?
The SMART BRIDGE can also be used without being connected to a smart home system. By connecting a SMART BRIDGE to the in-lite smart system, the lighting can also be operated using an internet connection, such as while on vacation. The SMART BRIDGE also ensures that software updates take place automatically for all smart products in the yard.
Which smart home systems can I connect my in-lite system to?
With the SMART BRIDGE, the in-lite system can be integrated with ‘smart home’ systems like Google Home, Apple Homekit and Amazon Alexa. This means, for example, that you can use the Google Home app to operate the in-lite system.
The in-lite app can’t find SMART BRIDGE. What should I do?
There could be several reasons for this. Here are a few tips for making a Bluetooth connection or reconnecting: 1. First check whether the SMART BRIDGE is receiving power through the adapter. 2. In the settings in your phone or tablet, check whether Bluetooth is switched on. 3. Check whether there is a connection with the SMART HUB in that specific yard. 4. Reduce the distance between the SMART HUB installed (and already connected) and the SMART BRIDGE. 5. Ensure that the distance between the SMART BRIDGE and large metal objects/structures is as large as possible and make sure that the SMART BRIDGE is not being blocked.
Can I also connect a SMART BRIDGE to a HUB-50/100?
Our HUB-50 and HUB-100 are not SMART transformers. They do not work via Bluetooth, but with a light sensor. That is why you can’t connect these transformers in the in-lite app and, consequently, cannot connect them to a SMART BRIDGE. All of our SMART products are operated using the in-lite app.
How many meters away from my SMART HUB can I place the SMART BRIDGE?
The SMART BRIDGE can be placed tens of meters away from a SMART HUB-150. Install the SMART BRIDGE indoors.
What do the LED indicators on the SMART BRIDGE mean?
From left to right: 1. Power LED = lights up when the bridge is connected to the power source. 2. Cloud LED = lights up when the bridge is connected to the cloud server. 3. Yard/mesh LED = lights up when the bridge is connected to an in-lite SMART system with one or more SMART HUBs. 4. Network/internet LED = lights up when the bridge is connected to the LAN network.
Can I reset the SMART LIGHT?
The smart light can be reset using a magnet. The placement of the magnet is indicated on the driver. 1. Place the magnet at the indicated spot or on the lens of the SMART SCOPE TONE. The smart light will flash briefly. This means that the smart light has detected the magnet, indicating that it is placed in the right spot. 2. Hold the magnet in this spot until the smart light flashes several times. 3. The magnet can then be removed and the smart light is now reset. It is important during installation to ensure that the driver is still reachable. This makes it possible to reset the smart light again in the future. In addition, a smart light can only be reset if receiving power, which means that the light zone must be switched on. A smart light that is not (yet) connected to a yard will continuously change light intensity.
Can I dim or change the color of more than one smart light at the same time?
Yes, this is possible. You can dim or change the color of smart lights connected to the same cable at the same time. Use the dim slider or color presets for this. You cannot dim or change the color of smart lights connected to a different cable at the same time.
The in-lite app can’t find my smart light. What should I do?
There could be several reasons for this. Here are a few tips for making a Bluetooth connection or reconnecting: 1. First check whether the smart light is receiving power through the cable. 2. In the settings in your phone or tablet, check whether Bluetooth is switched on. 3. Check whether there is a connection with the SMART HUB to which the smart light is connected. 4. Reduce the distance between the smart light installed (and already connected) and the SMART HUB. 5. Increase the distance between the smart light and other wireless devices. A disruption may occur. 6. Ensure that the distance between the smart light and large metal objects/structures is as large as possible and make sure that the smart light is not being blocked.
Can I also connect a smart light to a HUB-50/100?
It is not possible to operate a smart light without a SMART HUB. If there is no SMART HUB in the yard, the smart light can be connected using an easy-lock, but cannot be added in the in-lite app. As a result, it cannot be operated and dimmed in the app.
How many meters away from my SMART HUB can I install a smart light?
A smart light can be installed tens of meters away from a SMART HUB-150. Smart lights also communicate with each other, which can increase the reach.
I no longer need the SMART EXTENDER for part of or my entire Garden. Can I use the SMART EXTENDER for a different Garden?
Yes, you can. Remove the SMART EXTENDER by resetting it. The SMART EXTENDER can now be found for a different Garden. Select the other Garden in the in-lite app under Settings --> Garden and Add the SMART EXTENDER here. Important: A connection to the Garden is needed to add the SMART EXTENDER.
Can I reset the SMART EXTENDER?
Yes, you can reset the SMART EXTENDER by holding in the button for 15 seconds until it starts blinking. Important: The SMART EXTENDER is now no longer part of the Garden in the in-lite app. To add it again, go to Settings --> Garden --> SMART EXTENDER.
Is it necessary to update the SMART MOVE software?
Yes, because up-to-date SMART MOVE software ensures that your SMART MOVE will function properly. If new software is available, it will be offered through the in-lite app. An update button will then be displayed in the routine screen. To download the new software, make sure you have a good 3/4/5G internet connection and make a Bluetooth connection with the SMART-HUB 150. Open the app and, after a few minutes, check whether an update is displayed in the routine screen.
Where do I find the SMART EXTENDER in the in-lite app?
To find the SMART EXTENDER in the in-lite app, go to Settings --> Garden --> SMART EXTENDER.
Can I connect the SMART EXTENDER to the CB-081, CB-056, HUB-50 or HUB-100 transformers?
No, the SMART EXTENDER only works with the SMART HUB-150.
What should I do if the SMART EXTENDER is not working?
Complete the following steps: 1. Check whether the SMART EXTENDER and SMART HUB-150 are receiving power from the power outlet. 2. Check whether your Bluetooth is "on” in the settings in your smartphone/tablet. 3. Reduce the distance between the SMART EXTENDER and installed (or previously connected) SMART HUB-150. 4. Prevent a system failure between the SMART EXTENDER and other wireless devices by increasing the distance to the SMART EXTENDER and/or your smartphone/tablet to other wireless devices. 5. Place the SMART EXTENDER further away from large metal appliances that can cause interference, such as microwaves and Wi-Fi routers. Try the following tips: 1. Is your phone or tablet also connected to several speakers, headphones or other devices? Disconnect the devices you use infrequently or not at all. Your phone can become overloaded at a certain point. 2. Restart your phone or tablet. 3. Reset the SMART EXTENDER by holding in the button for 15 seconds until it starts blinking. Important: The SMART EXTENDER is now no longer part of the Garden in the in-lite app. Add it once again.
Is the SMART EXTENDER waterproof?
No, the SMART EXTENDER is not waterproof. So, make sure to always install the SMART EXTENDER indoors.
Do I need to update the SMART EXTENDER?
Yes, to ensure that the SMART EXTENDER functions properly, it must be up-to-date. So, make sure you have an internet connection and connection to the SMART HUB-150 and then download the newest software in the in-lite app. If a new update is available, it will be displayed in the SMART EXTENDER screen.
